Natural Disaster Risk Management

Natural Disaster is a human-Earth interactive system produced by interaction between natural system and human producing & living system. Natural Disasters have been causing serious impact worldwide. Because of its geographical characteristics and long history, China suffers from Natural Disasters of excessive categories frequently.China’s Natural Disaster Risk Management is far behind the developed countries.This paper discusses the main method of Natural Disaster Risk Management around the world, and focus on earthquake risk management. Combining the CEA, EQC andTCIP model, the paper gives some suggestions of China’s Natural Disaster Risk Management.
