Dead Reckoning: Book Four of the Synfederation Cycle

Xandra Rekabi and Jelic are on a collision course with fate. In this fourth and final book of the Synfederation Cycle, events set in motion in Hallalabor Station come to their startling conclusion.
The Goloka discovery is still sending ripples through the Synfederation. Pundits and citizens alike speculate on the origins of the Arkady. The Patrol is reeling from the loss of the Rho Ceti and the implications of its involvement in the Goloka situation, even as the OPS gains credit and political points for its handling of the aftermath.
For Xandra and Jelic, the uproar is just a distant thunder. Xandra must come to terms with her new, more limited reality. Jelic is slowly unraveling, all her certainties destroyed, unsure which facts of her life are truth and which are lies.
