Advanced Techniques for Using Autodesk Revit in Residential Design

A comprehensive tutorial on using "BIM" software to design and fully model an eclectic Victorian styled home. The tutorial covers conceptual exterior design, using parametric mass elements, placing the home on a 3 dimensional topographic site, created from an imported CAD site plan, and modeling all of the decorative trim associated with the Victorian style. It also includes schematic and final floor plan development, once again using mass elements, and the creation of custom windows, mantels, chimneys, casework and doors.
