Description
Navy Seal Fear Fighting Tactics for Christian Men is an ebook, based on my interview with Steve Watkins. Steve became a Seal in 1988 and served over 5 years on Seal Team 5. He served in Operation Desert Storm and went on to become a sniper instructor and taught on Seal Team 5's training team for over one year in the area of counter terrorist operations.
He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1993. He earned a BA in history with honors from Northern Kentucky University. In 1966 he attended Master University in Los Angeles and earned a Master of Divinity Degree with honors in May 2000.
The book contains key elements of Steve's Seal training and how he uses that training in his everyday life to maintain balance, as a husband, a pastor, and to neighbors who don't quite know how to "categorize" him!
I picked Steve for this interview because I've always been awed by the rigor, courage, and commitment it takes to complete Navy Seal training.
I also want to know if I would have the courage - the "right stuff" - to face death in an honorable way, on a daily basis in combat and then return to civilian life as a man of God.
My passion and talent is working with men to help "initiate" them into healthy manhood. I felt that interviewing a man like Steve would give men like me and my readers a look inside the life of a man who was initiated into manhood in one of the most powerful, challenging and unique ways that our culture offers.
I wanted to know how Steve deals with the kind of fear, confusion, and indecisiveness that so many men, Christians and non-Christians, suffer from and how to overcome those emotional wounds.
Come, look inside my book and discover how Steve Watkins, Navy Seal, man of God, husband, pastor, and neighbor deals with the kind of struggles we all do and, in the process, find out more of what God has in Mind for you and your passion and mission in life.
