Call for Fire! Selected Poems from "A Heart on My Sleeve"

Gary Rafferty is an honorably discharged combat veteran of the U.S. Army. He served with A Battery, 2nd Battalion, 94th Artillery in Vietnam, primarily in northern Quang Tri Province, along the DMZ, and west to the Laos border. He is a retired Nashua, New Hampshire Fire Department Lieutenant. A call for fire, in military terms, is a concise message prepared by the observer in a request for artillery fire support. His poems are a moving account of one whom served in Vietnam as well as a veteran viewing the Vitnam War/Conflict and war in general.
