The Crown Prince of Evil or Cosmic Freedom Fighter?

I have deconstructed the mythology of Lucifer and discovered the kernal of burning Veritas at its core. Lucifer's story is a warning to us. When decoded, it is an indictment of the human tendency to abdicate individual responsibility to a "larger" more "powerful and wise" body than the "mere" individual. Be that body a god or a government.

The end result is the same: if the individual abandons the responsibility to rule themselves, then the State is happy to step into that control vacuum and dictate the day to day operations of the individual. Lucifer, a puny archangel, became self-aware at oh-dark-forty on a midsummer's night somewhere north of Eden and declared his individual autonomy and fought a war in heaven against the God of the Universe to make sure his self-ownership was going to be respected.

This myth speaks to a humanity suffering under the boot of civilization's enforcer: the State. This myth is really a metaphor about what the individual's proper relationship towards the State should be: that being in a state of constant insurgency with this criminal fraud and ultimately, this purely imaginary neuro-linguistic thought construct.

Lucifer's legacy is the tools he invented to win freedom and emancipation from of a hugely superior aggressor: insurgency and the resistance movement.
