Shielah of Earth

Frozen in ice for thousands of years David Michaels awakens to a post apocalyptic world. He finds that pure humanity no longer exists. It is now the time of Hybrids. Owing to an error in their genetics they are in need of pure human DNA and can only get it by natural means. It is a place where space travel is common and aliens are welcome. Shielah of Earth has fallen for him and so has Garuc of the outer rim. When Garuc tries to kidnap him and take him out in space Shielah chases after him.
