Leadership Dilemmas: Avoiding Recession Rock: Leadership Lessons from a Shipyard

The Leadership Dilemma workbook series are intended as supplemental texts for graduate level courses in Leadership and Management and as study resources for workgroups who regularly meet to learn more about and to discuss leadership, operations management, and project management. Each workbook tells the story of Mike Gilligan and his adventures at a fictional company called WorldShips. Each chapter ends with a set of questions related to the topic at hand that entices the reader to explore other course resources, and to look more closely at their own work experiences and the lessons they have learned there. Each workbook chapter is a good portion for a week’s study and discussion.
