This text is comparison between insurance and contract surety. It explains the history of surety and how insurance and surety became meshed together in American law. This paper was the author's thesis project for his LLM in Insurance Law from The University of Connecticut School of Law . This book covers construction and surety bonds in addition to other legal insurance and surety issues. The author 30 years experience with CNA Insurance and The Hartford Insurance companies. He uses his cases to bring real world experience to this book.
