The author, a qualified accountant, has considerable experience of the commercial and the academic world. He has worked for and advised companies in Europe and Africa, undertaken management accounting research and taught management accounting in the UK and China. This has enabled him to create material that illustrates the application of management accounting techniques and provides an insight into the benefits and issues associated with these techniques.
