"All in Her Mind” is a book set within the Mind of a Schitzophrenic woman who cannot distinguish the real world from the one that exists inside her head. In fact not only does she confuse the two realities but she actively involves herself in the madness that the doctors seek to deny her, she does this because She would rather embrace her madness and deny reality than the other way round. This can be appreciated more when you understand that in the ‘real’ world Stephanie is a sick woman who cannot hold down a job, whereas in her inner fantasy world she is a Witch and the last Queen of all the elves.
Is it any wonder she would rather indulge in her madness.
