Oscar winning screenwriter Michael Lucas lives a contented, uncomplicated life. Sharing a huge apartment with his stuntman brother, Rick, and happily worshipping the girl he loves from afar, he's not looking to change anything for a while

When Michael suffers a minor heart attack, both brothers' priorities change. Suddenly, writing about life is no longer enough for Michael and he gets busy living it instead. In Rick's profession, however, worrying too much about death can get you killed.
