Women's Work: Three Crime Fiction Shorts

Note from the author: This collection features three shorts stories that were previously published. "Partnership Material" was available as a stand alone short story. "The Garden" and "What's Best for Violet?" originally appeared as a set titled DARK BLOOMS: TWO CRIME FICTION SHORTS. If you have read those, don't buy this one--they're the same stories!

The stories in this collection explore the relationship between women--a young attorney, a working mother, and elderly churchgoer--and crime. The common thread among these stories is that each of these respectable, upstanding women confronts a situation where the thing that matters most to her is jeopardized, and she must decide what to do in the face of that threat.
