Tony Montani never climbs to the top of pyramids. Immersion in the smoke and light of an Acapulco club or teaching English in Mexico rarely enters his mind. In Isla Vista, California Tony lives a mundane existence. His telemarketing job consists of selling auction information in a tiny smelly cubicle, and he barely has enough money to pay rent.
All that changes when he buys a ticket to Cuernavaca Mexico to stay with a host family that treats him like a son. South of the border he finds friends, pyramids, mummies, and his life's passion.
