Obsidian (Book Two) (The Immortal War Series)

In the second installment secrets are revealed, bonds are formed while others are broken. The second book titled Obsidian is 15 years after the war. Parker is now 19 and he is searching for answers about his father that went missing the night of the war. Obsidian is struggling to understand just how powerful she is without knowing the full truth of how she became who she is and Marissas brother comes looking for they hybrid niece that disappeared. Obsidian was found and raised by the military that was formed to enforce the rules set out in a treaty all species signed that sees them all co-habitating, but Marissas brother, Yasari, thinks it's un natural and wants to over throw the military and take control. He will use the fact that the military lied to Obsidian about her past to try and get her to help him. While all of this is going on Obsidian finds herself connecting with Parker, he makes no secret of how he feels about her, which causes serious problems with Obsidians werewolf boyfriend. The lies and fighting is to much for one character to take and ends up having to live with an extreme guilt forever.
