In 1930 a French trapper discovers the entire population of an Eskimo village vanished, leaving behind remnants of food on the cooking fires, weapons, and supplies. Soon the Northwest Mounted Police under Inspector Mike Nelson investigates. Joining the Mounties is Archeologist-Anthropologist Professor Harry Lander and his assistant Alison Karensky. But during the investigation they are attacked and taken prisoner. They wake up to find themselves on a world where Reptiles devloped into humanoid form. It is a barbaric feudal society where only the fittest survive. Will the group survive long enough to find a way back to their world?
