Guam is a Far Cry for Brooklyn

An autobiography of a teenager from Brooklyn who wants to be a Navy musician. The time is during the last months of World War Two. The author describes his good times and not so good times while spending his hitch in the Navy on Guam. The book contains many pictures of both Brooklyn and Guam as they appeared during those years.
