INTRODUCTION

How wicked is wicked? How nasty is nasty? Does Jodi Arias deserve the death penalty? Or will Jodi Arias serve the rest of her natural life in prison? As we enter into the penalty phase in the Jodi Arias trial many observers are asking how such a pretty woman could have behaved in such a vicious manner? What kind of person cannot utter the words “I’m sorry” or “I take full responsibility for my actions”. Many people are finding her lack of remorse very disturbing! Not one ounce of genuine remorse has been displayed by Jodi Arias. The facts don’t lie. It has been proven beyond any doubt that Jodi Arias committed a vicious killing. On the contrary, Jodi Arias goes on the attack and uses social networking through her friends to intimidate anyone who would suggest she is responsible for her actions! She commits an atrocious act and then blames everyone else – mom spanked me, the prosecutor is a bully, the murder victim abused me. Jodi, the jury has drawn the line! YOU ARE NOW ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS!

What kind of person commits this cold and calculating act of violence? Jodi Arias is obviously very articulate and certainly knows how to use social media. She is a pretty woman that knows how to charm individuals on a one to one basis. Why can’t she be straight forward and truthful? Even after her verdict “GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER’ she continues to blame everybody else but herself. Unless she goes through 10 possibly 20 years of intensive prison camp thought reprogramming Jodi would blame others until her death! In this paper we will examine the following four areas:

1. The Wicked and Sadistic Nature of her crime
2. Jodi’s continuous planning at each stage – lying to police, taping phone conversations, predatory sexual behavior, defamation of victims character, the poor me strategy (on suicide watch).
3. Jodi’s lack of Conscience and her inability to Accept Responsibility
4. Aggravating Factors Versus Mitigating Factors

Even in the post verdict stage of “Guilty of First Degree Murder” Jodi Arias continues to act very strategically in her attempts to blame others and to manipulate the system and society through social media. When will this all end? If she is given a life sentence in prison will she be allowed to continue this circus of attention seeking behavior from jail? Or will the circus die out and she be examined by professionals in order to learn more about what creates this type of self absorbed narcissistic personality? Even with a death sentence she will be undergoing further psychiatric examinations. Let the “PENALTY PHASE” games begin!

CHAPTER 1 - THE WICKED AND SADISTIC NATURE OF JODI’S CRIME

“Can you imagine how much it must have hurt Mr. Alexander when you stuck that knife right into his chest?” (Juan Martinez questions Jodi Arias on witness stand). “Objection, argumentative” (Kirk Nurmi). “Sustained”(Judge Sherry Stephens).

That first potentially fatal stab wound which Juan Martinez is talking about is when Jodi Arias’ sadistic stabbing spree began. She took that last photo of Travis Alexander “wide eyed” in the shower as a memento before she thrust the knife into his chest. Travis then fell back into a sitting position in the shower suffering from the initial surprise and shock of the vicious stab to his chest. He then struggled to get up and went to the sink.
