Following Dragons
Description
Amery, Violet, and Jack are typical, bi-racial, teenage siblings, who are just trying to fit in at their new high school in Miami. Everything changes one night, when they unwittingly become pawns in a secret war fought between humans and alien races—known in Earth history as gods and myths. Every Chinese New Year a powerful crystal presents itself, and whichever species claims that crystal has control over the Earth and her resources. Humans have claimed control of the crystal for the past twelve-thousand years. This year, however, Fyr Drakeins—aggressive, shape-shifting, dragon warriors from a nearby star system, have come to Earth with only one goal—conquering our planet.
In order to fulfill their goal, they will need humans with a natural connection to the Earth's spirit, Gaia. They must also battle the Watar Drakeins—mysterious, shape-shifting dragon warriors, living in the ruins of Atlantis.
The Drakeins separate Amery, Violet, and Jack, and the siblings must travel through magical dragon worlds, which overlap our own reality, to reunite. Along the way, the siblings' loyalties shift, as they get to know the handsome Drakein warriors, who show them that there is more magic in the world than they could ever have imagined.
