Born in Washington DC, Theresa attended George Washington Univ. and University of Arizona in Tucson. She and her husband met in high school, and were married at West Point. She has three children and eight grandchildren. Her husband was a test pilot and a skydiver. He died in an aircraft accident in 1993, just weeks before their 39th wedding anniversary.
Theresa pursued her childhood artistic ambitions throughout her adult life, seizing every opportunity to improve her skills in workshops and art classes throughout the United States. She has traveled in England, Germany, Fiji, Canada, and China. She has lived in or visited most of the 50 States including Alaska and Hawaii.
Now a resident of Boise Idaho and member of the Idaho Watercolor Society, She is a also a juried member of the Arizona Watercolor Association and an associate member of the National Watercolor Society. Her work is in private collections throughout the United States as well as other countries. She has won awards in both oil and watercolor competitions. This is her first book of poetry.
