Hanasaka Jiisan Japanese Reading Series (Japanese Edition)

This is the first in a planned series of Kindle Japanese graded readers. This first book in the series presents a traditional Japanese folktale - 花咲かじいさん (Hanasaka Jiisan).

The story is designed to give Japanese learners reading practice through the use of easy to understand text. The content level is geared towards upper beginner and lower intermediate students.

Notes on the text format:

- The book contains vertical text
- Black and white illustrations included
- All kanji have associated furigana readings
- This edition contains Japanese text (kanji) and as such works best with Kindle readers that support a Japanese font such as the Kindle reader software, and the Paperwhite and Kindle Fire physical readers.
