No Room for Doubt

This story is about a nomadic way of life that defies the modern cultures we know of. Courtship, elopement, arranged marriages, jealousy and conflicts over the softer sex in the nomad's world which may lead to devastating clan wars and brides fighting for a say in the choice of their life partners are vividly presented in this story. The story has a conservative nomadic setting in Somalia. The main characters are Rahmo, a country girl and her suitor, Huruuse. The families involved gave their blessing to arrangement, but Rahma had her other plans. She suddenly disappeared. The jealous suitor had his own decided to carry the nomad's law into his own hands. Conflict ensues. Conflict resolution committee deliberate on the matter and settle the matter though the local norms and practices.
