📖 Description
“Never Lost†opens just as sixteen-year-old Harper Johnston is trying to adjust to moving from the suburbs of Chicago to the remote Wisconsin farm town where her mother grew up. Harper is convinced that there is nothing for her in this town, which she sarcastically dubs “Hick Town USA.†All she wants is to go back home to her old house and her old school and her old friends. Then Harper meets Danny, who is unlike any other boy she’s ever met before. There is something different—maybe even magical—about him that Harper can’t quite put her finger on. Then Harper earns Danny’s secret…and decides that moving to Oak Leaf was maybe not such a bad idea, after all….

5 stars - A great Start - Never Lost by Riley Moreno is the first part in a series with young Harper Johnson as our key character. Having grown up in the suburbs of big city Chicago Harper is having a hard time adjusting to the small town in Wisconsin where she has recently moved. Harper than meets a boy but Danny is not just any boy there is something different and special about him.
This was a really nice kick off to the series and we my appetite to read deeper into the stories. The writing is good and while short it really does bring you in so that you want to read more. My theory of a short story or first part of a series is that it has to make you want to read the rest of the books or stories with it. Riley Moreno does just that within the pages of Never Lost. I for one will be looking forward to the rest of this story. - Ambrosia Jefferson
3 stars - Good read but way to short to really enjoy. Will be looking for the next part of this way too short story. - Raina (it's now a complete story!)
5 stars - Pretty cute story for the young set. I enjoyed reading this. I would be inclined to read the rest of her stories. I wish it had been longer. - Suzy Tadlock
