JAGAT GURU SHIRDI SAI BABA

Shri Shirdi Sai Baba was a revered saint and is worshiped by people in India and around the world. The essence of his life teachings is based on a moral code of love, forgiveness, kindness, charity, gratification, inner peace, and dedication to God and Guru. This is precisely what the author brings to the fore in this book. Sai Baba’s teachings were a synthesis of the elements of most of the major religions. The author establishes that Baba’s great teachings surpass most religious beliefs and are universal. An agnostic, who is uncertain about the endless beliefs and practices that religions follow, the author ends up finding solace in Baba’s religion of love.

Prasada Jagannadha Rao is an engineer by profession, who, along with his professional labour, embarked on a quest for God. At various stages of his life he got introduced to some renowned philosophical and spiritual teachers—Lord Panduranga, Ramana Maharshi and Jiddu Krishnamurti— and indulged in an in-depth interaction with them for several years. He also scrupulously studied various literatures available in relevance with realization of the self. He believes that on digging deeper into the foundations of all religious beliefs there exist some universal teachings and values. The author has never visited Shirdi, but he had the heartfelt desire to share Baba’s great teachings through this book and elucidate how they surpass religious beliefs and appeal to all of us, irrespective of our religion.
