In His Own Mind

Morris is an introvert whose inner life has been formed by and is dependent on the world around him. He is seemingly self-sufficient until he loses the person closest to him. Does he let someone else into his life? He needs to change to accept this new person. Is he able to change in middle-age? This new person is a spirited extroverted lady and a tonic for his soul. Not being able to do more than write to her they exchange letters until the time arrives when he feels he would like to see her. However she proves to be more elusive than he had imagined. How can you trust someone without getting to know them, and how can you get to know someone without trusting them? The answer doesn’t lie within.
