These Micro books are a collection of ideas, thoughts, and tools I have collected from over 30 years of teaching face to face prospecting in the field as well as responding to questions in workshops and e-mails. I have made well over 10,000 prospecting calls in the field working one on one in the Commercial/Industrial market place.
The focus of this series is to show you how to implement The BLITZ CALL® System for Prospecting and Making Cold Calls. That is what I created, use and teach. However, virtually all of the information here should be appropriate for any other prospecting system that you may be using.
Each chapter is short usually no more than 700 words. They are written in Article format so you can read one at a time or all without concern about losing the flow of thought.
In this series of booklets there is an intentional redundancy of ideas since my experience with sales people has shown that this helps learn the system.
I also address the administrative aspects of prospecting like Tracking, Follow up Systems and thank you notes.
There is a lot of information in these micro books, so you may want to read them over several times. I would suggest that you keep paper and pen handy so you can write out a TO DO list from each chapter.
Everything in the How to Learn to Love Prospecting series is based on real life prospecting experiences in which I have participated.
Don’t forget these two Facts:
1. Prospecting is the most important selling skill since it is the only skill that puts the sales professional in a position to use all their other selling skills.
