Following the death of her husband and neighbour in a recent fishing boat accident, romantic thriller novelist, Rebecca Newland attempts to rebuild her life.
She finds the travesty of what happened hard to deal with and when strange events begin to unfold in and around her home, she is led to the conclusion that perhaps her husband's death was no accident after all.
A white witch, introduced to her by her good friend, Sarah Trueman, tells her that there is a strange aura about her house and that she should perhaps leave.
But Rebecca dismisses the warnings until, following an acceleration of paranormal activity and a sexual encounter that she would never have predicted, she is thrown into a world of uncertainty and horror, leading to a conclusion that not only threatens her life, but also shakes it to the very core.....
