Slack Water (The Families War Book 6)

"Slack water" is the time when the tide may be changing, but you can't tell yet. The war between the Colandran Empire on one side, and the United Families and their allies, the People's Star Kingdom on the other is at that point. The Empire lost a fleet at Setosha, and are scrambling to replace it. The PSK is facing internal problems and wish the war would just go away. The Families have identified the new generation of leadership, but it isn't mature yet, and there are some crucial requirements that still must be met. The tide will turn for whoever can overcome this and seize control of events.

In this climate the Empire hits on a bold plan to separate the Families from the PSK, and quite possibly win the war at one blow.
