Before The Dawn

When the Ancient Ones created the world, they left behind fragments of their essence – fragments in the form of Coins of Power. For millennia, the two most powerful Coins, Light and Shadow, were sealed-away in the ancient Temple of Unity, a sacred and forbidden sanctum protected by a dedicated order of guardians. For several golden ages they were successful, until Acklor – one of their own members - betrayed them and stole the Shadow Coin for himself. In a desperate battle, Aeri - the elected holder of the Light Coin - fell to the Shadow Coin and its deception. The Light Coin was lost, leaving Acklor unchallenged in his domination of the world.
Now, years later, the Shadow has caught-up to the Light, and the conflict has been renewed.
