Hypothetically Speaking

What would you do if you awoke to the sound of a tree which had just traveled faster than the speed of light into the side of your house? Or if the Narrator of a book, who happened to be an alien, began talking to you? What if the love of your life walked back into your world after you thought you'd never speak with her again? You may not have to deal with these hypothetical situations, but for Adam Hayes they will take him down a journey through literature, time, and space, all while the Narrator tries to convince him to undertake an even more sinister plot.
