Freddy Hopscotch (Journey to the Wayward Lands)

Freddy Hopscotch is a young boy who struggles to find his place within his large family. Although Freddy does not believe himself to be gifted, he has an unusual sense of awareness for his age along with having quite a knack for finding lost things.

The story takes a dramatic turn for the worse when Freddy horrifically discovers that his father, whom he loves dearly, has gone missing. At the same time, reality as Freddy knows it begins to change. Things that shouldn’t be alive begin to talk. A mysterious old man from the neighborhood appears to have noticed Freddy and seems to know more about these recent strange events.

Freddy knows he is good at finding things and now he is determined to find out what has happened to his father. However all roads lead to a place Freddy isn’t quite sure really exists, is there another world out there? Is there more to Freddy than meets the eye? Freddy will need to journey far and make some unexpected alliances along the way in order to find out.
