The tropical Island of Anora, long isolated in the endless waters of the South Pacific, has never been explored. Long believed to be crawling with aggressive and violent cannibals, Anora’s most precious secret is actually the island’s now endangered and tiny population of human beings who can fly. They fly with wingspans wider than their height, glorious in color, and astounding in strength. But their safety on Anora has been compromised and the last two winged children are hidden away across the waves to the Land of the Walking Man, where they live in isolation.
