First Love Again – Kaye’s Story
“Kaye…unlock the screen door.” Mark demanded softly, trying to show he was in control of his emotions, but she didn’t move to comply. More tears were welling up in her eyes and running down her cheeks.
“Kaye…open the door for me sweetheart.” He put both hands on each side of the door frame and leaned close. He may be tired, but he felt like he could battle a dragon if he had too, and he wasn’t going to leave until he had what he came for.
“I don’t think that is a good idea right now…” he heard her whisper.
Gruffly, his patience growing thin, he answered her back. “Honey, listen to me… I’m going to rip this door off its hinges if you don’t let me in. We have to talk, we need to discuss what happened and I don’t want to do it on your front porch.”

Angel’s Love – Stacey’s Story
Stacey sat in shock looking at the beautiful tattoo covering part of Shawn’s massive arm and left shoulder. She looked up into his face and saw he was watching her intently. “She’s beautiful,” it was the only thing that came to mind.
“Yes…but not as beautiful as the real thing.” He looked at her for a moment, making sure she understood what he meant, then reached for his shirt but Stacey stopped him, her fingers lifting to caress his chest.
“You’re beautiful.” She said as she ran her fingers lightly over his muscles watching as they reacted to her touch.
“Stacey, don’t play with fire.” He pushed her hand away and pulled his shirt on, covering his body from her gaze.

A Love So Close – Samantha’s Story
“Are you checking out my figure?” She took another slow bite and licked her fork, watching as William’s eyes turned dark, his gaze following her tongue.
“Constantly.” The heat in his eyes flared brightly when his eyes met hers and he watched as she blushed prettily. ”One should never tease a hungry lion; you might get pounced on quickly.”
Samantha dropped her gaze and stared at her plate, knowing she was already in over her head. She wasn’t used to flirting and this conversation had turned to fire quickly, like a match struck. ”I’ll remember that.”
