Refined at Rock Bottom

Kitty Appleton thought she had an idyllic life in the tiny coastal town of Rock Bottom, Maine until her husband of twenty-eight years left her for a younger woman. Two years and ten thousand tears later, Kitty is tired of the pitying glances from friends and neighbors who believe she’s still pining for the happily re-married Bill. In a moment of sheer genius, Kitty devises the perfect plan to show everyone she’s moved on: fake a romantic relationship and set the whole town back on its heels.
The plan works perfectly until Kitty finds herself caught up in a murder investigation that plants her firmly between a rather contrite ex-husband and a surprisingly sincere new suitor.
