The small but peaceful village of Duttleton is upon the verge of witnessing a total solar eclipse of the sun which will be made all the more historic because it is the second time that such an event has centered upon the location - albeit three hundred years ago.

Whilst the village prepares to celebrate the occasion, a new family that have recently moved to Duttleton will soon find out that the happiness they think they have found is nothing more than an illusion waiting to be shattered. Four members of one family who are simply living their lives - each with their own secrets to cover over - will find out that in life bad things happen to good people as readily as they happen to bad people.
