Pure Filth - The Diary of a Forty-Year-Old Married Woman

This is the story of Sarah’s journey from being an overweight, middle-aged and fed-up wife and sex therapist, to a slim, divorced and sexually adventurous lady. It is a story of not just physical change but a birth of someone new.

Although Sarah works as a sex-therapist she is at a total loss with how to generate any sexual interest from her boring husband. Sarah feels that somehow life has abandoned her. Being thoroughly tired with this she decides to change things and starts a journey to re-invent herself, which she does with more success than she or her husband bargained for! Changes start to take place, so much so that a one-night stand with a stranger becomes a baptism for the rebirth of Sarah and so her adventures begin.

Sarah's take on life and the world of therapy is hilarious and gives a rare insight into this profession. Some of the characters that come to life are her friends and clients who each have stories of their own. Sarah questions her own sexuality and issues, something that she hasn't taken responsibility for until now.
