This book is a result of my quest over the last 5 years of my life to find the healthiest most satisfying recipes as I transformed myself into a 'clean-eating' fitness fanatic.
I reached a point at Arizona State University where I wanted to put my health and confidence above everything else. Being surrounded by daily by some of the most beautiful people on earth really made me take pride in how I looked and felt.
I started becoming more active and reading everything about nutrition I could get my hands on. Instead of hitting up happy hour after my 3 pm Biomechanics lecture, I would go home and Google new recipes I could try. I would take recipes I found extremely appealing and eliminate the sugar or salt content, substitute lean meats for fatty ones and upgrade to healthier ingredients.
I began cooking meals for myself and my friends that would have maximal benefit for our bodies. The momentum was easy to continue as I began to transform almost immediately. I quickly attained my ideal weight, my energy levels skyrocketed, and I felt fantastic!
It gave me so much pleasure to share this great food I had found with friends and family. So many people were coming over for dinner and requesting recipes that finally I said enough was enough!
It was time for me to make a cookbook that would allow me to share my love clean eating with the world!
This book is a compilation of the tastiest most beneficial recipes for your body. It is a result of the last 5 years of testing and tasting with family and friends. These recipes have transformed my life and the life of the people around me. My hope is that these delicious meals will give you the same wonderful results I was able to achieve.
