Retail Supply Chain Analysis

My employer is a major player within the retail industry. With experience, it is fairly easy to indicate that the process of the store’s operations begin with the supplier. Suppliers are responsible for inputs to a process, and my employers are involved in both external and internal suppliers). My employer offers a store brand that is produced within a separate department and a separate location that competes with the supplier's brand. This paper overviews how a retail supply chain works, and why a supply chain is necessary in retail in order to stay one step ahead of the numerous competitors. I hold an Associates Degree of Business Management Technology, and also hold the ranking of a Senior in the study of a Bachelor's Degree of Business Management.
