When her father dies, Kaz Marie Montgomery inherits his run down vineyard in Napa with the condition to remodel the big house and bring in a crop of grapes within a year. Otherwise the property will go to her estranged brother. Kaz gathers a cast to help her, including Dante Rossini the past vintner who was accused of killing his wife in the big house. When Kaz discovers an ancient manuscript hidden in the chimney, the stakes increase. Someone wants the manuscript and will kill for it. Kaz must finish the remodel while outsmarting whoever wants the manuscript, while losing her heart to her vintner.
