About the Author:
Lillian Ross who attended the University of Alberta, attaining a Bachelor of Education, taught for many years before retiring to pursue her writing. Her husband, Reg, and their two sons lived in Northwestern Alberta and worked in the oil fields. As well as writing, Lillian is involved with music. She and her husband played in a band for dances and now she sings and plays guitar with a band of women called 'The Hinge'. Other historical novels she has written are: The Gentle Gamblers, The Tender Years, A Full House, Mewassin: The Good Land, and Gandy Dancer.
