The Case of Seung-Hui Cho: Virginia Tech Massacre

“The Case of Seung-Hui Cho (Virginia Tech Massacre)” discusses briefly the family history of Cho and the mental health concerns which may or may not have played a role in the killings. Cho is responsible for the deaths of 32 classmates and faculty members of the Virginia Tech campus before taking his own life. When viewing the case it doesn’t seem an act of racism or terrorism, instead the failure of the American society as it seems such an act to just happen to not occur within another university. Individuals trying to blame gun control as the major factor are the same individuals who fail at blaming police for not locking down campus buildings. Whether no guns or more guns both extremes are highly impossible outcomes. The only surety is the act was heinous in nature and we can only hope a repeat of the Virginia Tech Massacre should never occur.
