About the author:
Elizabeth Day is an award-winning author and journalist. Her first novel, Scissors Paper Stone received a Betty Trask Award for debut novelists under the age of 35. Her second, Home Fires, was published in March 2013 and has been called 'compelling', 'powerful' and 'brilliant' by the critics.
