Jessie pulled back on her arm but couldn't loosen the iron grip James had over her wrist. "No!" she protested. "You can't be serious!" She jerked hard on her arm and began swinging with her other fist to fight him off.
He only grinned at her attempts. "You should try picking on someone your own size," he told her.
"You horse's ass," she shouted. "I'll get even with you for this if its the last thing I do!" Just then, a spark of fear flew through her and she grabbed him around the neck to keep from falling.
