Injection Moulding - Tool Design (second edition)

The format and arrangement of topics is as presented to students at the PARTEC Institute for preliminary reading and home study in the course of Tooling Designer. The lecturers augment this book with handouts and drawings and design-briefs for assignments. Face to face tutorials then focus on “guided practice” to build design skills and good design ethics. Student assignments are returned as CAD-on-screen or traditional sketches and drawings. We promote the “RonRae” style of drawing format to be used in Tooling Design sketching prior to on-screen-CAD processing to make tool manufacturing files.
