Bodhi and the Lost Temple of King Nanchancaan is the first in a series of adventure stories for young adults which all have an environmental conservation theme. This book is set in the steamy jungles of Belize, Central America, and takes the reader on a tropical expedition with Bodhi, a Land Rover that is "alive", Alex a conservation expedition leader who has no idea that his vehicle is a living being, and Emil, a Belizean teenager and budding conservationist. Together they face life and death challenges posed by the harsh jungle environment and by a band of gangsters who are determined to steal an ancient Maya treasure that Bodhi, Alex and Emil have been tasked to find and protect.
