The final volume of the seven volume history of the USAAF in WWII. Concerned mostly with logistics, the bread and butter of war, this is not less interesting than the other books in the series. The expansion of the AAF from 40,000 men to 2.4, with and equally increase in aircraft and equipment, and there movement across the globe was an astonishing feat of logistics.
