C Marvelous Brown is young and intelligent, but she's looking for love in all the wrong places. After enduring a life changing experience as a teenager, she pledges to get her life right and develop a better relationship with God. During her quest she challenges her three girlfriends to do the same: Kee-Kee who takes no crap from a man; Nikki the man hustler with an alcohol dependency; and C's very best friend, Sequoya, who is down to replace her good for nothing baby daddy with a man with money if he doesn't act right.
