All of us have been conditioned to believe all of our lives that we live in an ordinary rational world and that the supernatural and the bizarre don't exist except in literature, television, and movies. That commonly held belief is completely and utterly wrong though. The supernatural surrounds us everyday, and its always hidden in plain sight. No one knows this more than the mysterious woman known only as Veronica 'Roni' Fey, a centuries old sorceress, who has protected humanity all of her life from the unnatural and deadly forces that have always sought to destroy it from vampires to werewolves and everything in between. Now she must deal with her greatest case yet as she comes across two children whose family has been devastated by direct contact with one of those very same supernatural beings that we are all taught from birth do not exist. Roni knows better than this though. She fights this forces in secret as she works from the shadows and keeps to herself never allowing herself to ever get emotionally involved with the people that she helps. That's all about to change forever though and so will Roni's life as her latest case turns into a deadly fight for the future of the human race between two alien beings who used to be worshipped as gods by humanity in ancient times. How can Roni possibly save the world this time when she's so obviously in way over her head? The answer might just lie where she least expects it and it is also hidden in plain sight. What does all of this have to do with what appears to be an ordinary little girl, and what is her connection to the mystical fairies of legend, the Fey?
