In this modern take on the classic myth of Persephone, the eternally young goddess Prosperina finds herself stuck under the heel of a domineering mother -- one who gets her own way, no matter who likes it -- and locked into a role and existence without meaning.

What price would Prosperina pay for freedom? And in the end, who would end up paying that price? The goddess? Her mother? Or the world?
