No Playtime for Amy

No Playtime For Amy was originally written as a backup story for a zombie comic entitled Gory Lori. I can still remember the response I got from artists Mike Koneful and Jeff Salisbury, who handle the lead and ink-slinging duties, after they'd read the script. Basically, "Joe, this story is horrendous…I can't wait to start drawing it!"

Several years pass, and I'm putting together a full-length horror anthology (DEAD MEAT), and sure enough, about a dozen of my close friends and sometime-collaborators all ask, "You gonna use No Playtime? That one's really rough."

What better endorsement could I have asked for?
